Ardèvol Anjoli is a wonderful introduction to the prestigious Priorat region of Spain. The Ardevol family has been growing vines in the village of Porrera since the 13th century. Anjoli is the name of the adopted daughter of Rose Galceran, one of the partners of Celler Ardevol.
Ardevol Anjoli Anjoli is a blend of 50% Garnacha and 50% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks before aging for 14 months in French oak barrels
The colour is black-purple. In the nose very ripe dark fruits, dried herbs, licorice, vanilla and tobacco. It is soft on the palate with medium-full-body and fine, well integrated tannins. Ripe fruitflavors of blackberries and current, dried herbs, a little licorice and some oak flavours.
It is well balanced with a long, warm, lingering finish. Good length.
