The area Steinberz is one of the highest areas near the village Gösing am Wagram. The slope faces southly to the sun. We decided to plant Grüner Veltliner here because the area is ideal for producing such spicy, full-bodied wines medium in alcohol. The name “Steinberz” comes from the high amount of gravel in the soil.
