Bodega Antigal was established on the site of a historic winery in Russell, Maipú, Mendoza - Argentina, whose origin dates back to 1897.
2000: With its completed remodeling, Antigal achieved the very best in high-tech functionality while respecting the original appearance of a historically important landmark in Mendoza, Argentina. This historic building house a state-of-the-art facility whose gravity-flow platform system allows for a largely “hands off” approach to winemaking eliminating the need for forceful pumps and crushers.
2005: Winery's first signature wine, a Single Vineyard.An event was held to celebrate the first vintage, and in order to make it special, out of the metal barrel hoops, a number 1 was cut and shaped to mark the first bottles, hence the name: 1

Richly spiced and filled with concentrated raspberry, red plum and currant flavors that are backed by fresh acidity. Minerally notes show on the finish.
Great Malbec! Bright purple-red colour. Aromas of black fruits, cheryy, vanilla, coconut, cocoa, oak wood and some fine herbs. Very balanced, good structure and silky tannins.
