Located nearby Florence, the Estate extends for 85 hectares (olive, grain, wood, scrub).On the south side of the Pizzorne Mountains (1000 meters high), Fattoria di Petrognano dominates the plain of Lucca and Capannori, with the mountains of Pisa in the background.
The heart of the estate, and the small village of Petrognano, is 350 meters above sea level, where the cultural landscape of olive groves and vineyards slowly changes into chestnut, oak and cluster pine forests.

Clean, essential and professional, it acquires virtue, competence and uniqueness thanks to its precise, logical and regular base that allows one to rotate it for 360°, optimising the racking, cleaning and practices of ageing, in addition to excluding the presence of steel for total discharge, the wine tap and the lid. Moreover, the double lid in terracotta with the air chamber and without boiler creates an optimal vacuum with parameters of ageing more realistic than other experiences.
